Screw designConsistent rations are critical when using a vertical mixer. To achieve the optimal mix, Vermeer twin-screw mixers are equipped with overlapping screws and offset baffles along the tub wall. The design of tub and screws work together to move material between the screws to get a thorough mix.
Efficient cleanoutVermeer mixers use two bi-pulse legs and the leading edge of the screw to form three points of contact with the tub floor for optimal cleanout. These three points of contact also work together to allow even distribution on the discharge conveyor and into the bunk.
